Privacy

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site. That means basic analytics — rough visitor counts, which articles get read, which country traffic comes from — and the cookies your browser uses to remember simple preferences. We don't ask you to create an account or hand over personal details to read anything here.

The analytics we use are aggregated. We look at trends, not individuals, and we don't build profiles of visitors. If you email us, we keep that message only as long as we need to answer you.

We don't sell or hand your data to third parties for marketing. Some standard tools (like our hosting and analytics provider) process limited technical data on our behalf, and only for running the site. We don't share anything beyond that.

If you'd like to know what we hold or want something removed, just write to us using the contact email. We'll sort it out without fuss and without asking you to jump through hoops.
