Turbo Canyon
★★★★☆ 4.0
Turbo Canyon doesn't pretend to be a simulator. It's a loud, cheerful arcade racer where drifting fills your boost meter and the tracks twist through canyons that look great on an OLED screen. We played it mostly with tilt steering, which is better calibrated than most phone racers.
There's a sensible progression of cars and tracks, and the rubber-band AI is tuned so you rarely feel cheated. Sessions are short and replayable — perfect for chasing a slightly better lap time.
It won't blow you away with depth, but it nails the pick-up-and-play loop. A good palate cleanser between heavier strategy games.
What we liked
- Well-tuned tilt steering
- Drift-to-boost loop that stays fun
- Short tracks ideal for quick runs
