Glyph Brigade

Glyph Brigade is tower defence with a clever twist: your towers only fire when you spell words from a shared letter pool. It sounds gimmicky, but the two systems lock together beautifully — you're planning maze layouts and scrambling for the right letters at once.

The difficulty ramp is excellent. Early waves teach the basics gently, then later maps demand you juggle placement, upgrades, and quick thinking under pressure. I lost plenty, but every loss felt like my fault, not the game's.

It's the standout tower defence on this list for us. If you like games that make your brain work in two directions at once, this is the one.
